Todrick Hall ‘cancels all interviews’ after Celebrity Big Brother backlash
Actor came second in this year’s American version of the reality competition.
Toddrick Hall reportedly canceled all his interviews after leaving the Celebrity Big Brother house, following heavy criticism from viewers over his behavior on the reality show.
The musical theater actor and choreographer lost the top spot in the evening's finale on Wednesday (February 23), coming in second only to UFC fighter Misha Tate.
However, Hall was called out by CBB fans for his tactics throughout the series, and apparently denied any interaction with the media after leaving House.
Broadcaster CBS told US media late on 23 February that Hall had abruptly canceled his scheduled exit interview following the finale's conclusion.
Fans have since assumed that Hall made the decision after learning how viewers and his cast were reacting to his actions and statements on the show.
This involved striking back on alliances with other competitors to progress in the competition.
Following his expulsion from Celebrity Big Brother, former Different Strokes actor Todd Bridges watched previously aired episodes and learned that Hall was not completely transparent with his strategy.
“Todrick was amazing at convincing us—excuse my language—bull**t,” Bridges told Us Weekly. "He was amazing at that. I've never met a better bull**t artist than him."
This series of reality shows allowed the eliminated contestants to return to vote on which of the remaining celebrity candidates should have the chance to win.
However, Bridges announced that he would not support Hall to win the $250,000 cash prize after learning more about his gameplay.
"I'm shocked by all the horrible things he was saying," Bridges admitted. He said, 'No one likes the way he played the game. It is okay to play to win, but not to play evil to win. It's not a good way to play."
Lamar Odom also expressed a similar sentiment to the outlet, revealing that he believed Hall was "happy" after winning the title of "head of the household".
The former basketball star explained: "There's a sure way to win and there's a sure way to lose."

Social media users reacted to Hall's actions by "hosting" #TodrickExposedParty on Twitter, discussing his comments and actions throughout the show.
"In this thread, I'll discuss my former hero Todrick Hall, why I worked so hard for him at the start of #CBBUS3, and why he not only broke my heart, but why I'll never be able to watch another music video, OR Hear another song by him ever again,” wrote a Twitter user.
Another viewer commented on a clip in which Hall explains his formula for sending fans a paid greeting video. "To be honest, I don't mind that he did this to himself," wrote the user. "He's talking about playing his fans on cameos for money, boy bye."
