Sixers to bat first in Scorchers rematch
Sydney Sixers will bat first in the BBL clash with Perth after winning a bat-flip at Coffs Harbour.
In a contest pitting the defending champions one after another against this season's current leaders, the Scorchers will be looking to score another victory against the Sixers, having defeated them just five days earlier.
Perth announced a late change to their squad after batsman Colin Munro tested positive for COVID, while Jason Behrendorff will also miss the match as he was isolated as a close contact.
All other Scorchers players and staff - including Behrendorff - returned negative rapid antigen tests.
Chris Sabberg will make his Scorchers debut, who is listed to bat at No.
They live without star batsmen Mitch Marsh and Josh Inglis who are with the Australia Test team.
For the Sixers, Jason Avendano, Shadab Khan, Todd Murphy and Daniel Hughes all came in to captain with Hughes.
Regular captain Moises Henriques, James Vince, Sean Abbott and Steve O'Keefe were all out.
