Biography:
The younger brother of Jonny Evans, Corry is an established reserve at Manchester United and was capped by Northern Ireland at every level up to B before his inclusion in the full squad for the first time for the June 2009 friendly against Italy. After a number of run-outs in friendlies over the following year, Evans made his competitive debut as a substitute in a Euro qualifier in Slovenia. He marked the occasion with a goal with his first touch as Northern Ireland recorded their first significant away win in sixteen years.
For United, Evans played regularly in central defence and across midfield for the reserves and youth teams. He was expected to go out on loan during the 2010/11 season to gain some firstteam experience with Real Mallorca touted as a possible destination. On 22nd October he joined Carlisle United on a one-month emergency loan deal as a replacement for another loanee, United and Northern Ireland colleague Oliver Norwood. Evans made just one appearance for Carlisle, in a 1-1 draw at Bristol Rovers on the 30th October, before his loan spell was also cut short by injury.
In January 2011 Evans joined Championship side Hull City on a six-month loan. He marked his Hull debut with a goal in a 1-1 draw at Reading. The move was made permanent on a three year deal shortly before the end of the season. He was part of the team that gained promotion to the Premier League in 2013, but prior to the commencement of the following campaign he transferred to Blackburn/
